With the rise of electric vehicles, the demand for tires that can handle their unique characteristics has grown. However, many existing options have failed to deliver in terms of actual performance and cost-effectiveness. This gap in the market is what inspired Prinxchengshan Tire Co Ltd. to create the Xnex Sport Ev. Their goal was to enhance the driving performance of electric vehicles, thereby promoting the use of clean-energy vehicles.

The Xnex Sport Ev is not just another tire. It is a revolutionary product that balances durability, noise dampening, energy conservation, and maneuverability. This is achieved through a series of technical innovations, including a noise-dampening tread with a 5 plus 5 differentiated multi-pitch configuration, deeper tire shoulders, and a revolutionary rubber formula. The tire also features the latest technology of integrating colored rubber with the tire to highlight and reinforce the patterns on the sidewall.

Creating the Xnex Sport Ev was not without its challenges. The design team had to overcome the high dead weight, large torque, and quick reactivity of electric vehicles. They made numerous adjustments to the tread patterns, experimented with four different formulas, and created six schemes of sidewall patterns. All these efforts resulted in a tire that performed exceptionally well in the Ground Contact Efficiency (GCE) test.

The Xnex Sport Ev tire measures 713mm x 713mm x 255mm. It is designed to reduce rolling resistance and heat generation during driving, thereby enhancing the durability of the tire and the energy efficiency of the electric engine. The optimized spacing and layout of the tread patterns ensure an even pressure distribution and lower tire noise, offering passengers a quieter ride.

The tire was designed by a team led by Yongqiang Sui, Hongdian Wang, and Jinbin Wei. The project was launched in March, with the preliminary design completed in September. Testing was completed in December 2021, with further testing and adjustments completed in February 2022. The Xnex Sport Ev will be available to the market in June 2022.
